With FreeCallSprite:
Dial the number, hold phone on your hand;
Phone will vibrate when call is connected;
Place phone to ear to talk.
FreeCallSprite supports following phones:
3250、5700、6110N、6120C、6121C、6220C、6290、E50、E51、E60、E61(i)、E62、E65、E70、E71、N73、N75、N76、N77、N78、N80、N81、N82、N91、N93(i)、N95、N96
FreeCallSprite needs to sign before installion. You can sign it with your dev cert. If you don't know about cert and sign, please visit www.symbiansigned.com and follow the instructions to get FreeCallSprite Open signed.

What's new in beta version:
1, Use a trick when call is connected to make vibration available, which means FreeCallSprite can vibrate when call is connected.
(Attention: Due to the high proirity of the phone app, any notify after call will be ingoned. The trick is that when call is connected, FreeCallSprite will hold the call for half a second to make vibration run and then resume the call, and there will be some system auto-disappear dialogs. So the receiver will hear nothing when call connected for a second or two. I have warn you about this! If you don't like this trick, I will re-add the methon that vibration before call connected in next release)
2, Add autostart on boot
3, Add settings
(Attention 2: Light effect only available with S60 3rd FP1 phones such as N95, N76, 5700 etc.)
4, Add dial-up key sounds
(Attention 3: The installion package does not contain the key sounds audio files, you can download them seprately and put them into c:\data\KeySounds\, and the audio format must be .wav, and the filename must be 0.wav, 1.wav...9.wav, and 10.wav is "#" and 11.wav is "*", for example, the file must be like this: c:\data\KeySounds\0.wav)

Hi,
Basically I like FreeCallSprite.
You mentioned in your Blog:
"If you don't like this trick, I will re-add the methon that vibration before call connected in next release)"
Can you make an option so that the user can choose between the two methods?
The currently "trick" method seems to work fine on my N93 except when I dial my Voice Mail number I don't hear the first half second of talk from my Voice Mail Box.
I would like to compare it with the other method and decide which one I want to use.
That really would be great if you could implement it.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Gagome

Man! The way when FreeCallSprite - vibrate one time when call is connected (instead of vibrating all time before hang) is the best way for many people!
Please (if you interest in it of course) develop in that way to make this function work smooth and not noticeable for outgoing users :)
Any way - HUGE THANKS for that app. Its only one app in the net with such functuoin atm. Good work!

Hi,
OK, I think I understand now.
The older method was vibrating all the time after starting a call until the call was answered, right?
The current method is vibrating only shortly when the call is answered.
In that case the current method is better and I want it to stay this way.
Thanks for enlightening me. :-)
Best Regards,
Gagome

Yep, it is probably a best small app whith such useful functionality! If it would get rid of call holding then it will MVA 2008 for symbian. :)

I think it would be better if it vibrates all the time till the other person answers the call. If it is possible build in both features, so people can decide what would be better ;)
BTW: Nice prog.

Good job !
Only one problem: After reboot or power-on, via press & hold the 'menu' key, this app can be saw reside inside the list. So users have to switch it out then 'hide' it manually.
Wish it could automatically hide from the menu list after reboot or power-on :)
